I have been making things in my spare time, like a new layout, but I just have never had the time to transport them from my computer to either my mom’s or dad’s that are actually connected to the internet. Therefore, I have no new content for you… but I am still working on it.

Sorry again for not updating lately or anything of that sort… I just don’t want to update if I have no new content to add… I am still reachable via email, neomail, comments on posts, or commenting the cbox. So yes, I am still here… Just saying. And that’s all for today(:

Also, Just made some new emoticons (: I know they’re not fantastic or anything, but it’s my first go at it. I’ll make them available shortly. And, I’ll make some more in different colors and different styles.

Finally, I am going to update this old layout soon. Don’t get me wrong, I love it and everything… just time for a change. I’m going to try and use some of my newly found javascript skills. However, I am waiting until I get Ben’s old computer with Adobe on it. Not sure when this will be, but that’s ok. Awww, Ben’s such a sweet guy:)

And now off to go make more something, not sure what… maybe layouts of some sort? Oh wait… I should use this time to transfer all of the stuff from my old sites to this one that I still haven’t done yet. That’s all for tonight kids, I’ll talk to you all later…

However, don’t be surprised to hear that since this site really isn’t primarily myspace, at all, everything will be over on myspace.raveshock.com. ALSO, BE WARNED, as of right now, there is no content on the site… I just got the site up and everything running. I’m testing out some javascript… as in, trying to learn to use it. I also learned how to make glitters much more efficiently, thanks to Taylor.

Now, I don’t want to be late for work, so I must be off… I’ll see you all when I get back in 5 or 6 hours.

However, this means that next week (the 11^th-17^th) we’ll be on a mini hiatus seeing as I won’t have access to a computer and Laur won’t either… plus, even if she did, she isn’t much of the updating regularly sort =p Also, it means that this week I actually have something to do EVERY DAY, which I’m excited for! But, I don’t know how much I’ll get done then.

BUT, some good news… I did try my hand at icon base making… they’re not really the best, but I would use them… I also added some new icons.

I am really sorry to say, that we actually CAN’T host sites, because our host is switching over and we won’t be able to host anyone now… new rules =/ Can’t say that I’m a fan of that, but she has her reasons, and I will oblige by her and her rules. So, I am sorry to those of you who applied… I would very much have liked to accept you, I just can’t.

I’m thinking about getting a twitter for RaveShock. Both Laur and I have one, and yeah… that’s about all. I actually have been craving to make more layouts lately, I just don’t have any inspiration… so maybe I’ll just go at it it. I just hope that people are using what we make. If you could comment or something to let me know? Hmm… maybe I should add a c-box/tagboard or something so people can contact other than just posting on the blog… update or whatever you may have it.

You know what? I’m thinking we could use another person to help out around here. If you’re interested, let me know… hmphh.

We’ve also added Altador layouts and graphics… or are in the process of adding that. I know that’s pretty big with all you neopets people, so here is as good as place as any to get your Altador paraphernalia. Actually, all we have right now is Maraqua (because that’s my team =p)

I know we’ve had hosting and tutorials up since this site opened and there is nothing on the page, but I have been working on it. We’re almost ready to host people, but for some reason the ftp folder won’t show up on my computer =/ It works though, because it shows up on Ben’s computer (and for those of you who don’t know, Ben is my computer nerd techy… bahaha. We help each other out with random coding questions and problems… he’s saved my butt a few times.) But alright, off to make more Altador layouts. Oh, and there is a new pet page style which is quite simple, but I really like it. Enjoy.

I made a new petpage! Yes, I have been uber busy lately and haven’t been able to get anywhere near my computer in over a week. *sigh* the woes of a working girl. After this, I won’t be on much again for a while, seeing as my life is pretty busy now. But, I DID add pet pages to the site… even if it was only one. It’s a very pretty one, so it should be alright(: I have more, and I still need to finish transferring all of the twilight stuff over onto this site. The password to get on and delete Irrevocably Twilight is still MIA, so we’ll be on the lookout for that.

So, nothing really new… I just felt like there needed to be a post. AND HOLY POO! I MUST EAT NOW!… I’m about to participate in the 30 hour famine… and idk if I can make it. I love eating too much, not to mention that I have to go to work for part of it.

Hey everyone, it’s been a few days, you all are wondering What is new in Jayy’s life? Let’s see. Still aggravated by boys. I think that’s a reoccurring theme though. I mean, boys are always stupid. And if it’s not one of them, it’s the other.
I’ve written 2 songs within the past 3 days or so. Woooo. I’m on a roll. The one was pretty much inspired by some crap that me, Abz, and Em are going through right now. I’m pretty sure it’s our anthem… haha, maybe not really. But Em did say it was her theme song. The other one is about getting away and enjoying the sun and the freedom. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been loving this fantastic weather we’ve been having! Ahh… it’s the best!
Work starts tomorrow. Yippee.. can’t wait. Went out and got all of my work clothes tonight… that was an interesting experience. I had a nice, long chat with my mom about a lot of different things.. haha.
Alright, I think now I’m going to ask you guys questions about things that me and my friends are going through right now…

Bahh… I’d really just like to get away from it all. And school is ending so soon for me… I’m never going to see these people again. Good or bad? I’m not sure yet.

So, a new layout is up… as you can hopefully see. Laur and I decided when we first opened the site that we would have a theme for possibly each month. I asked her what the theme for THIS month should be, and she said Umbrellas… so here we are. With our new umbrella theme. We have new pictures in the sidebar, new default gravatar images, new images on the staff page, new buttons, and obviously a new layout to match it all. Also, I’m in the process of putting all the old layouts back up. So if codes are missing, it’s because I’m not quite done with it yet.

Also, I’ve decided to close down most of my other sites. It’s actually pretty sad because some of them were really popular. Well, when I say really, I mean it relatively. Anywho, I’m putting all of their content onto this site, so get ready to be slammed with lookups, pet pages, and graphics(:

I’m working on a new song on the guitar. Who knows how it will end up… I really like the chorus though, so that’s a good sign(: I can’t say much else is going on my life… besides everything that has sparked the first 3 lines, which I’m not going to talk about here.

So I’ve been working on the site for most of the day… we got out at 10:30 so I’ve had time. But this is really hard to type with em sitting here, so I’ll leave you with this thought:

Musical is finally over. Today was horrible because of you. I have a cold which prevents me from singing, and that makes me sad. My throat hurts and my nose is running, and it’s awful.
I’m trying to write a new song with chord progression inspired by Jimmy. Lyrics inspired by Kara, Abby, Emily, and you others… I wish you (brat-pack) and others that are causing problems would just stop.

Youth group tonight was fun. Well needed. Yes and No. But not all together. That’s our motto. And hopefully I’ll be able to update more and add back more content, since I’ve hardly been home at all for the past week… but who knows. I have a job interview tomorrow, so wish me luck(:

In other news, I was listening to all of the songs on my iPod and I heard this song by Kate Voegele, Wish You Were Here… which I’ve had for over 2 years, I just haven’t really listened to it. Well, I have to say that I now LOVE that song. Like, I really like the guitar picking (which I really want to learn how to do. *sigh*) And it has good music, good melody, and what really got me was the words. It’s funny, cuz I listen to songs and pick out parts that apply to me, but hardly ever does a whole song apply to me and my life. And hearing it for the first time tonight was amazing timing… just random tidbits of my life that you don’t care about that I feel compelled to share.

Still looking for affies. I don’t want a whole bunch like some sites, but a few more than I have would be nice. And thanks to all of the awesome people that I currently have as affies anyway(: And thanks for everyone’s comments… I love hearing from you! Still waiting until I have enough time to add more to the site… It’s feeling a little empty right now.

And yes, Abby, Sam, and I did a Lady Gaga Medley but Abby was sick and Sam wasn’t sure how loud she should sing, so it sounds really bad because first of all, no one wants to hear me sing anyway =p and secondly, having the alto line being the loudest part is not the best… not when it isn’t the melody. We’ll record again, once I’m able to bring Ellie back to school. We’re also working on other songs that I’ve written… and you should hear those. Put the Smile Back in Place is a song I wrote for Lauren… though if you decide to click that link and listen to it, keep in mind that that was pre-good guitar and that was an off-day for my singing. ha.

So I’ve been spending today working on the site… when I wasn’t out and about. I FINALLY figured out how to get fanupdate to be somewhat normal. I still don’t have the layout perfect or anything, but it is much better than it was! I also cleaned up the content page a bit. Now everything that is on there actually has content under the link, and the links are much, much prettier. And the bright green links were bugging me, so I changed them to orange. *sigh* Now comes the part of trying to get all the layouts back on here. That will be annoying, and won’t get done for the next week because. GUESS WHAT I have freaking musical practice all this week. The musical is next weekend, and we’ve missed so many practices because of the snow that we’re far behind. I’ll let you know how that goes.

And hopefully, my friend Abby and I (and Sam too?) will get some more songs and covers up on our youtube. We only have one song up… the song I wrote… and it’s with my crappy guitar and it’s not the best we’ve ever sung it. So here’s hoping that sometime this week, we’ll get more. Better songs with a better guitar.
